Chularat Hospital Group (CHG) was established and has prospered in the area known to be Thailand’s industrial corridor. It was founded in 1972 in Samut Prakarn Province, the gateway of the Eastern Seaboard. Starting from Chularat 1, a small infirmary with just four doctors and 26 beds, it was the first and the only privately-owned medical facility operating in this fast growing area at that time. It has offered quality healthcare for the residents of expanding communities and housing estates as an alternative to the overcrowded state-owned health services. Having operated at the center of Thailand’s largest industrial hub and located on one of the busiest highway, Chularat 1 has successfully built up a reputation for specializing in treating industrial-related illnesses and injuries, from road as well as industrial accidents.

As Thailand’s economy grew rapidly during the past three decades, Chularat 1 has also been steadily expanded. Many of new medical facilities have been added to Chularat Hospital Group, from Chularat 1 to Chularat 12. Presently, there are three types of medical facilities under CHG including three tertiary hospitals with more than 100 beds, secondary hospitals with under 60 beds and satellite clinics for outpatients.

Chularat Hospital Group is celebrating its 26th Anniversary in 2013. I would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and also all supporting staff who have united as a great team with unwavering determination and dedication to provide excellent as well as highly professional services and treatment to our patients. On community services, they have also devoted their free time to tirelessly offer health services to needy people in the surrounding communities. Thanks to the determined efforts of all CHG personnel, Chularat Hospital Group has been awarded a quality hospital certificate, Hospital Accreditation (HA) Second Level, from Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organization). In December 2012, CHG was subsequently accredited HA Third Level, which is Thailand’s highest accreditation level from quality hospitals.

With all Chularat medical facilities located near factories and industrial estates in Samut Prakarn Province, there are presently 305,000 workers registered with CHG Hospitals under the social security scheme. The number has already reached the allowable ceiling set by the Social Security Office, making it necessary for CHG to shift its focus to attract more cash-paying patients.

In so doing, CHG needs not only to transform its image, but more importantly to uplifting its medical capability to handle specialized and sophisticated cases that will enable CHG to distinct its services from other hospitals. Our goal is to become the excellent medical center capable of taking care of the patients referred from other hospitals. This goal will also serve Thailand’s preparation for the coming ASEAN Economic Community in the next two years.

I am confident that CHG is capable of and ready to welcome the incoming international clients through the expansion of modernized facility together with the professionalism of dedicated staff, highly experienced special medical teams, state-of-the-art medical equipment, and most of all our determination to offer the best possible services.

Over the years, we have continued to strive for the improvement of our service system while placing emphasis on patient safety. With this goal in mind, we therefore develop a strong focus on Total Quality Management in order to prepare for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). As an accredited hospital that aspires to improve the quality of life of our patients, we have opened up several specialized healthcare centers such as Cancer Center, Gastroenterology and Liver Center, Endoscope Center and Plastic Surgery and Sex-Change Surgery clinic.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our visitors, partners, and shareholders for giving us continued support. Furthermore, we would like to extend our appreciation to all staffs whose dedication and hard work have contributed to the steady growth of Chularat Hospital Group.           In 2013, the industrial sector in eastern provinces has grown at a steady pace, including the expansion of manufacturing facilities and the new opening of factories in the Industrial Estate located near Chularat 11 Hospital Bangpakoeng. At Chularat Hospital Group, it is also part of our mission to extend our services to the people in areas outside Bangkok. As a result, The Chularat 12 medical clinic was established to provide medical and health care services to employees and workers in the Gateway City Industrial Estate at Plaeng Yao District, Chachoensao Province as well as to the people who live in the vicinity and nearby.

As part of our administrative plan in 2014, Chularat Hospital 11 Bangpakoeng has initiated several projects to bring more benefits to the society and our valued visitors. To better meet their increasing demands, we have expanded our outpatient and inpatient services. We also provide specialized medical service such as the Heart Center led by a team of heart specialists and well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This is because heart disease is a silent killer most of us tend to overlook. The lack of immediate treatment will highly increase death risks. For that reason, we have set up a 1609 Heart and Brain hotline for heart disease and stroke patients who are in need of emergency medical services. Our high-speed ambulance is fully equipped with 3G and high-technology equipment. With a well-trained paramedic team on board, patients can rest assured

that they are in good hands while being transported to the hospital. The hotline service is part of our effort in providing the best medical attention for patients with heart diseases in Chachoengsao Province and nearby areas.

I can say without hesitation that Chularat Hospital 11 Bangpakoeng has all the capabilities to serve our visitors with the highest quality and standard. We aim to be internationally recognized by other ASEAN countries in anticipation of the upcoming AEC.

Dr. Chutima Pincharoen, MD
Managing Director, Chularat Hospital 11 International
